We’ve been following the evolving live streaming space for some time now. The success of recorded social video on the net (read YouTube acquisition) spurred on many more video startups, including a host of video sites hoping to find an equally large demand for live content. This is how often I use my Sip Voip on my ipod touch. I prefer siphon v.1.1 for calling out, and sip voip v.1.2 for receiving calls (cause of the ringtone). They are both signed up to the same SIP account. I use my speaker attachment with the headphone splitter as my “phone mega pack” so that i look and it sounds like im on a regular cell phone. I also use my headphones on some occasions. Watch my other video to see how this fits in my pocket, nicely with the plastic cover. Enjoy!!!Msg me for questions

Fixing Sirius Internet Radio Problems

Suddenly your Sirius Internet Radio stops working? Of course the problem is found and solved in Microsoft Media Player. Here are some quick fixes that worked for me.

Here’s the fix that will allow you to rename a folder so that WMP can rebuild some of those necessary components:

To rename the Player networking information folder:

1. Close Windows Media Player completely.

2. Click Start, then select Run.

3. In the Run dialog box, type the following (exactly as shown):

%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Media

This step opens the following folder on your computer:

SystemDrive:\Documents and Settings\UserProfileName\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Media

4. In this folder, rename the folder 10.0 to 10.0.bak

5. Start the Player and try to stream the content again.

Under Tools, Options then Player tab. Had to check “Connect to the Internet (overrides other commands)”

If you are behind a hardware firewall (like work) goto the Network tab and unselect RTSP/UDP and RTSP/TCP. Leave HTTP selected.
